Doorsteps in Belfast

When living in Belfast this was my daily lunch spot,Great range of sandwich fillings, though my favourite was the red Thai chicken. Unlimited coffee refills!

Quite simply the best sarnie shop in the country. The sarnies are so big, I nearly dislocated my jaw the other week trying to eat one. If you want a good feed, get yourself over to Doorsteps pronto!

One of the best Philly Cheese Steaks I've had outside of Philly.Nice surprise, super tasty and mouth watering at a price that doesn't make you sweat. Only downside is they shut at 4pm.

Only given 3 stars due to the poor girl behind the counter having to serve customers ordering take away and sit in, way too much work for one person, with her serving everyone, it didn't leave her anytime to clear the tables. But as always, food was great and fair play to the girl who was serving..... She was smiling 😊

Fried breakfast was OK, but took ages to come, sandwiches made fresh looked good, rather extensive menu.

Great place to visit for food anytime of the day but particularly good for breakfasts! DONT order the Monster Fry unless you've been fasting for a few days previous 😂 its massive! Will be back again!

Just had the BEST HOT CHOCOLATE with Marshmallows & Cream on Top - EVER!! - put me in the FESTIVE Spirit - was Elf-tastic will be back for more :)

Dropped in for a cup of tea (love my tea) great idea of having a bank of plug and USB charge points in one part of the seating area

slow.. sitting waiting half an hour on a sandwich then left it half made sitting on counter still didn't finish it 3 people leaned over it don't know how many times never be back walked out

What happened doorsteps. Frozen prepared chicken, tasteless cardboard. Cesar Salad ,disgusting shredded slop. Never be back. Not reccomend at all.

When you enter this beautiful establishment you are met by a fully modernised interior, the front of the premises is lined with tables. The ladies of the doorsteps will see to your every need feeding and singing to many of their customers. You can relax here enjoying great coffee and excellent food. From their legendary sandwiches which can hold open a door, hence the Doorsteps name. The ample selection of hot food will satisfy most hungry humans. My personal favourite is the slightly modified sourdough breakfast with lashings of butter and an additional two turkey sausages. It sets me up for a busy day. Please call and enjoy their fayre. Cheep ketchup, burnt food, no beans, dirty tables, first time in the place won't be back asked for new potato bread because it was burnt and received raw uncooked pbread. Staff avoided asking if everything was OK because they knew the chef was terrible.

Went in today with a friend and our children for lunch. No welcome or friendly smile from staff. Ordered anyway. Sat down kids were playing with 50p ikea plants in the middle of the table (not rough play or anything) girl came over and said "can I take them off them it's just our manager will go mad, this place is only new and he wants to keep it nice) ok if they mean that much to your boss he can have them. Had to ask twice for my cappuccino I had ordered, was set down a normal coffee. Was too embarrassed to ask a third time for the correct thing. Friend ordered southern fried wrap which she left majority off as it was awful! We both agreed we wont be back. Feeling not welcome somewhere is awful! Especially with your children.

Lovely food, generous portions and great value

Wrong order. Guy beside got the wrong order a few times he was not amused. Came with chips, charged for chips, when taking order "Do you want chips with that?" "No"?? Doorsteps was always so good for fresh, clean sandwiches, it's not like that anymore. We won't be back again.

Been coming here on and off for 20 years. Great sandwiches but their prices have been fairly hiked up. Not the good value it once was.

Best sandwiches in Belfast with friendly staff.

First time visiting gorgeous breakfast tea and coffee staff lovely and friendly. Prices very reasonable we will definitely be back highly recommend. I've been everywhere for breakfast but Doorsteps in the top 2😀😀

I have been going here for sandwiches for almost 20 years now and they're still every bit as good as the first one I had.this place is hands down the best sandwich shop in Belfast in my opinion and the selection is staggering! And now they even do burgers and Ulster fries! What more can I say
